The Riverview Bed and Breakfast is a spacious log cabin home with detached cabin rooms built along the Copper River in Gakona, Alaska. Surrounded by native Alaskan spruce and birch trees, the house features authentic Alaskan decor. The untamed Copper River Basin is a favorite destination for fishermen in the summer and for tourists and outdoorsmen all year. Winter activities abound and we can help you make arrangements with local guides and backcountry services.
The breakfast area affords spectacular views of the swift Copper River through panoramic picture windows. In the summer, you can sit on the decks and enjoy the cool (or warm) Alaskan evenings. There are clear views of two of the major mountains in the Wrangell/St. Elias National Park. Mt. Sanford, one of the tallest mountains in North America at 16,237 feet and Mt. Drum, at 12,000 feet are most impressive in the evening as they catch the last rays of the setting sun.
